Hi - I'm trying to run a report that includes accounts vs totals for all classes except one. The filter shows correctly but all classes keep getting includes. Ideas?

You should also be able to filter the classes when you run the Budget Vs Actuals report, Laura.

We can try doing the browser troubleshooting steps to get rid of any possible cache-related issues. Here's how to do it:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online account and the report again on a private browser.
  2. If you can filter it successfully, we can go back to your regular browser and clear the cache storage.
  3. Use other supported browsers if necessary.

If you're still unable to filter the report, I'd recommend reporting this to our QuickBooks Customer Care Team. They'll be able to investigate this more and provide additional troubleshooting steps.

Let me know if have other concerns.

We had the same problem, and were able to resolve. The problem was upon the creation of the budget for the class. There is one menu item you have to select properly upon the new budget setup - it in the drop-down menu to the far right at the top of the page, and is labeled "Subdivide by".

If this is not selected upon the creation of the budget, we have no way to filter by class.  (so we deleted the first budget and re-entered using this option!)

Hope this helps!!
