I have been using quickbooks for months with no problem.
Then the day before yesterday, I went to log into my company file and I can't. I can launch Quickbooks and I can open a Sample Company File but I can't open my company file. After I put in my password I get the crash center little thing and then the "Quickbooks quit unexpectedly" from my Mac. I did the troubleshooting steps, I updated to the latest version of Quickbooks, I restarted my computer, I tried to restore from the last backup and nothing happened. I saw somewhere that a company file should be at least 7mb big and mine is like 6.2 or something like that so I guess that might be the problem but I don't know how to fix it.
I need to get it my Quickbooks like yesterday, I'm trying to get ready for the Holiday season!
Thanks!

Try removing the preferences file:
1. Quit QuickBooks if it is running
2. In the Finder, hold the option key down and choose Go->Library menu
3. The library window opens. Double click on the Preferences folder.
4. Drag the com.intuit.quickbooks20xx.plist file to the trash (where xx is the year of the QuickBooks version)
5. Relaunch QuickBooks
Did that fix it?

Re "If you need to share files among multiple machines use the QuickBooks Server application," is there a QB Server application for Mac users?
QuickBooks Server application is also applicable for Mac users, kgardner.
There are things you need to do or consider when setting up a multi-user environment.
To see the detailed information about these process, you can refer to the answer of my colleague using this link:

You can also visit the Mac 2019 User Guide. Go to pages 26-30 to learn more about the tasks related to QucikBooks Server and the multi-user setup.
Feel free to drop by again if you have additional questions about the process.
