If you need to convert data from QBO US to QBD US Pro/Premier, you should have the trial version for QBD 2021 Pro. They only provide the trial version for QBD Enterprise 2022 and 2023. Send me a private message and we can share the trial code.
Nicole, I need to move ALL DATA from QB online to QB Pro 2024 for windows. The only info I can find is this article which is over a year old and not relevant. Can you please give me the exact steps? I've used QB for over 30 years, but I dislike QB online for MANY MANY reasons, including the jagged integration for payroll.
Thank You! Shari [removed] [email address removed]

I'll guide you every step of the way to move your data from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), Shari.
You can still refer to the article provided by my colleague above. This includes the detailed steps to help you move your QuickBooks Online (QBO) data to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
To start, you have to prepare your QBO file. To do so, open your QBO account and on the other web browser and edit the URL in the address bar to this: https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/exportqbodatatoqbdt.
Exporting the data might take up to 12 hours or less depending on the size of your file.
Check this resource for reference: Move your QuickBooks Online data to QuickBooks Desktop.
Once everything is fine, you'll want to read this reference to help you set up your QBDT company: Get started with QuickBooks Desktop.

If I export my data from QBO to QBDT, does my information stay in QBO until I decide if the DT version works for me, or is it gone from online when I export it?
All your information is still available on QBO. You have access to data and reporting for one year from cancelling your subscription, basically read only.
