How do I prepare managemnt report with cover letter. like the one in quickbooks online

Sounds like your using the QuickBooks Desktop version. Nevertheless, let me provide the insights about Management Reports in both QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) and QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QBO, there are ready-made management report templates you can use: Company Overview, Sales Performance and Expenses Performance. These reports already has cover letters on it.

Here's how to view a management report:

1. Go to Reports in the left navigation bar,.
2. Click the Management Reports tab.
   
3. Click the View link of the management report you want to see. The management report opens.
4. Use the scroll bar on the left or the Page Down key to step through the management report.
5. To print, click Print. Or, click the Print icon if you see one within or at the top of the preview.
6. To close without printing, click Close.

QBDT on the other hand, doesn't have a specific report for Management Report. However, there is an QuickBooks Advance Reporting available in QBDT Enterprise.
