How do I reduce the font size, and reduce the screen size?

Look no further, @bruce39.

Here are the steps you can follow to reduce the font size and screen size when accessing your QuickBooks Online account. Since QBO depends on the Windows font settings, let's adjust the settings on your computer so the sizes will be reduced. Here's how:

  1. Click the menu icon (looks like a three-dotted line).
  2. Select the Settings option.
  3. Go to the Appearance section.
  4. Tick the Font size dropdown and choose Small.
  5. Then, select the Page zoom dropdown and pick a number lesser than 100%. size.PNG
  6. Once done, refresh the page. Then, open your QBO account.
  7. Please know that this will work on any page you open on your computer, not just QuickBooks Online.

Also, just in case you want to adjust also the font size of your printed sales forms, you can modify it on the Customs Form Styles window. To guide you in the process, please see this article: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know how this goes and leave a reply below if you need further assistance in reducing the font and screen size of your QBO. I'll be right here to lend a helping hand. Take care always.

Let me help fix the font size issue when using QuickBooks Online (QBO), crabappledrive.

uses and depends on the Windows font settings. For now, there's no option to change the settings that will only apply to QuickBooks.

There's a possibility that the font size of the browser that you've used is set to small. You can follow the steps below on how to check the font size, depending on the browsers you're using.

For Google Chrome

  1. Click the 3 dots, then select Settings.
  2. Under Appearance, click the Font size and Page zoom drop-down arrow and pick a size.
  3. Refresh the page, then go back to your QBO account.

For Mozilla Firefox

  1. Go to the Hamburger icon, then choose Settings.
  2. Click the drop-down arrow beside Size, then update it.
  3. Refresh the page, then check the size will of your QBO account.

You also consider holding the "Ctrl" key and press the "+" sign simultaneously on your keyboard. Or, you can hold the "Ctrl" key, then scroll up.

Lastly, QBO requires these settings:

  • Screen resolution set to 1024x768 or higher
  • Dots-per-inch (DPI) set to "Normal" or "100%".

You need to check the settings on your computer to make sure it displays all pages properly.

If you get the same results, let's perform a few troubleshooting steps to verify if this has something to do with your browser’s cache. A typical browser uses a cache of memory to work efficiently and load pages faster, but as data collects it can cause unexpected results.

Use this link for the solution: How do I clear the temporary Internet files and cache?

Let me know how this goes by commenting below I'll be right here whenever you have follow-up questions about the display format in QBO.
