I subscribed to Quickbooks through the App Store but now I need to transfer the subscription to quickbooks online as well as upgrade the subscription.

How do I transfer my subscription from the Apple Store to Quickbooks?

You'll have to cancel your subscription with Apple and set up a new account in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to transfer, Jamie. I'll provide you with detailed instructions for the process below.

 

You're unable to transfer your subscription directly from Apple Store to Intuit. Therefore, you must first terminate your plan with them before transitioning your billing to us.

 

That said, start by following the official steps to cancel your subscription from Apple. Then right after, visit the QuickBooks Plans & Pricing page to choose the plan that best suits your business needs and fill in all the details required to complete the subscription procedure.

 

Once done, you're all set to get started with QBO and import your list to keep your financial data updated.

If you opt to close your current account and reopen a new one, you're unable to directly move your account details since you are starting a fresh subscription. Thus, you'll have to reenter or set it up again. For your existing lists, bank transactions, and invoices, you have the option to manually import them.
 
Take note that it's not necessary for you to open another account to migrate your Intuit billing. Instead, you can simply contact our support team and they will assist you in moving the billing details without requiring you to start over again.
 
Here's how to contact them:
 
1. Log into your QBO account.
2. At the right-upper screen of your QBO account, click Help (?).
3. Go to Search, then enter Contact Support.
4. Click on the Contact Support tab.
5. You have the option to either chat with an expert or receive a callback from them.
 
Once you're moved, cancel your subscription in the App Store to avoid being billed twice.
