When an employee forgets the password when logging into the Workforce page, all they have to do is select the I forgot my user ID or password link and follow the onscreen instructions.

However, if the employee is one of your QuickBooks users, you can have him reset the password by clicking the I forgot my user ID and password option. After that, you'll be asked to enter your phone number or email address so you can receive a User ID Recovery information. From there, select the link in the notification that you receive (text message/email) to reset your User ID.

That option does not show up. It says to try another way IE text me a code. When you get the code and enter it, you get a message saying it has expired

It is possible that your browser cache has been stored for a prolonged period, which can cause it to behave erratically. To diagnose whether you are experiencing a browser-related issue, I recommend performing some basic troubleshooting steps.
Here are the shortcut keys for these browsers:
Clear your cache and refresh website preferences, which may cause issues with QBO.

I appreciate you for clarifying, @TP46. Allow me to share some troubleshooting options so you can reset your password in the QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app.
First, ensure that the app is updated to its latest version. Then, refresh your data to see the latest available information in your QBO app.

If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the app. In the meantime, I suggest updating your sign-in information through the Intuit Account Manager page using a supported mobile browser.
Additionally, you can save time by paying bills with a bank transfer, debit, or credit card using the QBO mobile app.
