I am attempting to change my billing subscription information from a credit card to our banking account and it will not save the information.

The software goes through the motions but it does not save the new information.

Let me provide you some information, Mibazzy. 

 

The issue is already under investigation. Our engineers are working to get a resolution. While we're waiting for a fix, I suggest reaching out to our customer care support. This way, you'll be added to the list of affected users. Here's how:

  1. Click Help inside QuickBooks Online.
  2. Enter "I need a human" in the Type something field.
  3. Select Get help from a human.
  4. Enter "Unable to update billing info" in the description field, then click Continue.
  5. Select either Chat or Callback.

Once it's fixed, you can update the billing info without any issues.

Let's run some troubleshooting steps to isolate why you're unable to click the contact options, mibazzy.

 

Let's open QuickBooks on a private window. It is the best place to identify for any browser related issues. I've added these keyboard keys to open one:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Shift N

 

If it works, we can go back to a regular browser and clear its cache. A piled cache can also be the reason for some unexpected issues on the opened pages.

 

We can also switch to a different supported-browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge.
