I have been using the Self Employed app on my iPhone for over a year and just subscribed to Self Employed online. When I log into the webpage on my laptop, no data appears. How do I sync all of the info from the app with the online version?

Let me clarify a few things here, gorganicous-gmai.

 

When accessing QuickBooks Self-Employed through the mobile app, the data should also be available if you access your account through the web browser (https://selfemployed.intuit.com/login).

 

You mentioned that you just subscribed to Self-Employed Online, you might have signed up unintentionally to QuickBooks Online.

 

QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Self-Employed are two different platforms. Hence, your QBSE data is not available when you sign in to QBO (http://qbo.intuit.com/).

 

If you indeed planning to switch from QBSE to QBO, there is a process that we need to follow. You can check out this article for more information: Switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online.

 

Otherwise, you'll have to cancel QBO (accidentally subscribed) to avoid future unexpected charges. Then, you can continue using QBSE.

I have been using QBSE for over a year but after I resubscribed now I can login on my Pc but I cannot login now for 2 months on my IPHONE pro max 11.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled cleared the cache cleaned the cookies and I even shut off the phone completely for 2 hrs and I still can’t login. I am SO disappointed and frustrated

I understand that you need to log in to the QuickBooks Self-Employed mobile app. Let me assist you.


It's good that you cleared the cache, reinstalled the app, and restarted your phone. These can fix any issue with the app.


You'll want to share the error message you received. That way, I can provide you with different steps on how to fix it.


Also, I suggest you reach out to our QuickBooks Self Employed Support Team if this behavior persists so they can further check what's the reason why you cannot log in.

I have repeatedly called the support team and none of them got me logged in on my IPhone including Apple support who told me that I needed to contact the Quickbooks developer. It does not matter what phone I try to login to. I have a Samsung Note 10+ and an iPhone 11 ProMax. I have not been able to use the app for its intended purpose for almost 2 months now

First and foremost, I appreciate the time and effort you've put in thus far. I know things have been hard for you and that this is not the experience that we would want you to have.

 

As I check here on my end, there was previously an investigation. It's already tagged as closed and resolved. Since the issue persists, you can consider contacting our QuickBooks Self-Employed Support Team. This way, another representative can check and investigate further to determine what's causing this problem.
