As I have checked our records here, I have found out that there's an open investigation where our customer like you are facing issue downgrading their plan. Our engineers are aware of this and now doing their best to get this resolve as soon as we can.

 

For now, I would suggest getting in touch with our specialist to add your company details as one of the affected users. To guide you further on how to contact them, please refer to the steps below:

 

  1. Click Help and select Contact us in the pop-up window.
  2. Enter Downgrade plan inside the What can we help you with? box and then, Let's talk.
  3. Select Get a call back. Please consider checking this article to know our specialist work schedule. Please go to the QuickBooks Online section to view further details.

You'll get a notification once updates or resolution is available. In case you need guidance in downgrading, you can take a look at the steps below:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings under Your Company.
  3. Click Upgrade your plan inside the QuickBooks form.

I have been trying to downgrade for over a month.  This is ridiculous and unhelpful. It won't even let my cancel my subscription

I know that this hasn't been easy for you and your business.

 

I've asked our software engineers to look into this issue and was informed that they have an open investigation about this issue. Rest assured, we're prioritizing and working hard to get this fixed. For now, I encourage you to give us a short call so that we can directly add your contact information to our notification list. Please have our technical support link your case number to INV-45656. We'll be sending you updates via email once we get this sorted out and I'll also keep you updated through this thread.

  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter "Unable to downgrade my account" in the description.
  4. Hit the Let's talk button.
  5. Select Start a chat or Get a callback.
