Hello, @arbernard82-outl.
Please know that this is not the impression we wish to leave you with.
When canceling a QuickBooks Online account, there are a few things to note. The steps for canceling QuickBooks Online will depend on where you signed up for your subscription. For example, if you signed up through a mobile app store, you'll need to go to your app store to cancel.
I've included the steps to cancel using the browser method below. However, if you signed up using a mobile app, please see the steps in Cancel your QuickBooks Online Subscription.
Here's how to cancel from a browser:
- Open a web browser on your computer, not a mobile device.
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online as an admin user.
- Go to Settings and choose Account and settings.
- Go to Billing & subscription.
Note: If you don't see the Billing & subscription tab, you bought QuickBooks through a mobile app store. See the steps in the help article I've included above.
- In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel subscription or Cancel online. If you're canceling a trial, choose Cancel trial.
- Follow the onscreen steps.
Once you've canceled the subscription, you will have read-only access to your data for one year. This is to give you time to export the data for accounting needs later on if needed. For additional information, check out What happens to my QuickBooks Online data after I cancel?
Thanks for giving us the opportunity to work with your business. I'm happy to help you again if you have more questions. Take care!
