To help you further with this I want to know the product that you're referring to? Are you using the Plus version for QuickBooks Online (QBO) or is it the QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus subscription?
I just want to make sure we're on the same page here since your post is currently tagged for QuickBooks Online. Consider these options if you have QBO:
Option 1: If the company file is within 60 days old (90 for non-US accounts), you can still purge the whole file. Follow the steps below to delete your company data:
- Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
- Edit the URL on the address bar. remove everything after app/and enter purgecompany. For example: https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany
- Click Yes to confirm the action.

- On the next page, select Wipe data.

Option 2: If it's active for 90 days or more, terminate your account directly on your QBO profile. Here's how:
- Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
- Click the Gear icon at the top right section of your Dashboard.
- Tap Account and Settings.
- Choose Billing & Subscription.
- In the Payroll section, click Cancel or Cancel trial.
- Hit Continue to cancel.
- Answer the short survey, and select Confirm cancel.
