If your interface looks like this, then, you are using QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). And when you see Subscribe now at the upper left hand, it means that it is under Trial period.
However, when your page is the same on the image below, then you're using QuickBooks Online (QBO). The Subscribe now button will be available if you're under Trial version.
