Of course you can, @sshaw1. I’m glad to see you here!

 

You have the option to access any state website even if we’re making payments on your behalf. However, you'll need to contact our Payroll team if you make transactions like payments to them. This is to prevent any circumstances.


Here’s how:

 

  1. Select the Help menu.
  2. On the QB Assistant window, type Talk to a human.
  3. Select or type, I still need a human.
  4. Type it again until you see a shortcut to connect with my human option.
  5. Click the Contact us link to connect with payroll support.
  6. Select Get a callback.

Why was my clients Maryland Unemployment not filed by you for the first and second quarters of 2021.  The client filed all 2020 unemployment returns without any problems through your service.  If your system indicated that the forms would not be processed why wasn't the taxpayer made aware by you?  Your lack of timely communication has now caused the client to miss two filing dates and incur $70 in penalties.  I believe this is YOUR responsibility, because the client was not notified by you in  timely fashion.

You may want to double-check your tax forms settings if it's set up to auto-filing. QuickBooks will file your tax forms once your client set and authorized the program.

 

Here's how to check your tax forms settings:
 

  1. Click the Gear icon icon at the upper right corner and select Payroll Settings.
  2. In the Taxes and forms section, select Edit ✎.
  3. Select the Automate taxes and forms checkbox.
  4. Hit Save.
