Thanks for reaching out for help with your app. I'd love to get this resolved for you.

 

In order to do so, can you give me a little more information about what's happening?

 

  • Are you unable to log in?
  • Can you log in, but then the app is freezing?
  • To be clear, are you referencing the QBO app?
  • Can you log in from a web browser?

Any additional details would be really beneficial so I can make sure we gearing our troubleshooting the correct way.

I'd love to help you register or activate QuickBooks for Mac. While we can't do an outbound call here in the Community, you'll want to follow these steps to fix this.

 

First, make sure your license and product code match. Here's how to check:

 

  • If you bought QuickBooks Desktop from our website: You can look in your purchase confirmation email. If you can't find them, log in to your Customer Account Management Portal to get your license and product numbers.
  • If you bought QuickBooks from a retail store: Look for the bright color sticker on the original CD envelope.

 

 

Next, if you're selecting Register Online during the process, ensure that you've entered the correct phone number and zip codes so Intuit will recognize your info.

 

Lastly, check your system date and time settings. Ensure they are current.

 

If you're still unable to register, please contact our Customer Care Support so we can assist you further. Here's how to reach out:

 

  1. Go to Help, then choose QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Tap Contact Us towards the bottom.
  3. Enter a brief description of your issue, then select Continue.
  4. You'll be provided with a few support options. Click which one works best for you.
