Need help to change the phone number linked to the account that was compromised by a hacker!

Hi, we've already spoken to four different customer support representatives, and they all directed us to contact [email address removed]. However, we haven't received any response. We urgently need assistance because we can't conduct any business transactions until this issue is resolved. Is there a more direct way to contact the security team or perhaps a manager?

We just discovered that the hacker can log in using the compromised phone number without our password! He managed to create several bills and attempted to pay himself using various bank accounts. We are helpless because the account he hacked is our primary account, and we can't even promote another user to the primary account since it requires a code sent to the compromised phone number. We're stuck in a vicious cycle and can't do anything about it! I can't believe QuickBooks allows users to log in with just a phone number without a password! What's the point of changing my password if the hacker can still log in with the phone number? Is there someone I can talk to in the community about this? HELP!

PLEASE HELP !! THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS BRIDGE OF SECURITY !!

I HAVE TO POST THIS BECAUSE INTUIT STILL CAN’T RESOLVE THEIR OWN QUICKBOOK-ONLINE SECURITY BRIDGE ISSUE FOR 2 WEEKS WHILE THE HACKER HAS FULL  ACCESS TO OUR 3 COMPANIES’ DATA AND ALREADY TRIED TO MAKE PAYMENTS TO THEIR OWN BANK ACCOUNTS.  THIS IS SERIOUSLY THE WORST INTUIT SOFTWARE AND SERVICES.

I contacted your support team 5 times since 3/1/2025 and the case still hasn’t been resolved !!

I hope you know how serious this is when the hacker can access to our 3 companies’ data, and we can't do anything about it.  If something happens to our data, I hope you have the back up and you will be responsible to recover for any data lost.

We changed our password right away when we found out the 2FA was compromised.  However, since the Hacker can change our registered phone number to his, the hacker is able to log in to our account using the compromised phone number.  And there is no way for you to help us change that phone number back to ours.  What kind of security you have here!!

We are fortunate not to use the direct bill payment through QuickBooks, otherwise they would’ve cleaned up our bank accounts. 

I contacted the bank which the Hacker tried to transfer our money to.  The bank responded to me right away and offered to escalate the matter to their fraud department for review.  That is a great customer service.  Unlike Intuit who hasn’t responded to our emails to Security/Fraud department and postings on the QuickBooks community for the past 2 weeks.

This is a very serious issue that needs to be taken care right away.  Why does it take so long to even acknowledge and respond to our concern?
