I have been trying to reset my admin password for over two days. I have correctly entered all the information, and the prompt keeps telling me that I have received an email to reset the password, but I have not received an email. I have called support and they told me it was on my email providers side, I called them but they said that my email is functioning fine, and that the email has not blocked any incoming messages. I have tried through the automated password reset tool, as well as using the desktop one as well. I am currently using Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2017. Can anybody please help me?
Hi there, @Lena1.
Thanks for sharing all the steps you’ve taken to reset your QuickBooks password. I’m here to make sure you’re able to receive an email notification with the steps you need to perform the process.
First, make sure they’re not missing by checking your spam/junk folders. Emails such as this will usually take 1-2 minutes before you receive it.
Second, send a message to do-not-reply@intuit.com to trigger the domain to recognize @intuit as a trusted site. Then, try resetting your password again.
If you have not received it after 10 minutes, add our Intuit Services address to prevent missed emails. Check out this article for more information: How to make sure you receive important email messages from Intuit.
Once done, you should now be able to receive the email with the steps needed to reset your QuickBooks password.
Please let me know if this does the trick. I’m only a post away if you have any follow-up questions. I’ll be on a look out for your response.

Please get back to this post if there's anything else I can do to help.
Contact Support and ask Data Service to reset your password. Otherwise you have to purchase a 3rd party password removal service.
