Please help I cannot connect my banking account even when I have verified several times the correct answer and password

To ensure that I'm on the same page, may I know what bank you're trying to connect to QuickBooks Online (QBO)? Are you getting any error messages? 

 

In the meantime, try logging into your QBO account using a private browser (incognito). There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, causing some unusual responses.

 

Here's how:

 

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox or Internet Explorer).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari).

 

Once signed in, connect the bank again to double-check. If the same thing happens, let's try using the bank's URL. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to your bank's website and sign in to your account.
  2. Then, copy the URL located at the address bar of the web browser.
  3. Log in to QBO, then go to the Banking menu at the left pane to get to the Banking page.
  4. Click Add account11.PNG
  5. Paste the URL, then select the bank's name and enter you credentials. 12.PNG
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

If it works, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache. Every so often the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which can potentially cause viewing and performance issues. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.
