Proadvisor QuickBooks Online Certification wrongly expired

I got an email today saying that my QBO certification has expired. I know I completed the re-certification modules between April and May and got re-certified. My Proadvisor Training page shows "Certified" for all 3 of QBO, QBO Advanced, and QB Desktop. The re-certification section at the top however shows "Completed" rather than "Certified". Additionally, there is no option anywhere on the page to take an exam for QBO, whether re-certification or the full certification exam all over again. Why was my re-certification only partly recorded? And how can I restore my QBO certification status, seeing as I have no option anywhere to take an exam?

Proadvisor QuickBooks Online Certification wrongly expired

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, @EveryPennyAccounts. Let me add some information about the ProAdvisor certification in QuickBooks.

If your certification is already expired, I suggest retaking the exam inside your QuickBooks Accountant Online account. You can also check out this article: FAQs About ProAdvisor Certification. It contains the answers to the commonly asked questions about this program.

Otherwise, contact our customer support team. This way, you will have a better understanding of the status of your certification.

You can also download or print badges and certificates from the ProAdvisor menu if you've passed the exam. It helps you show off your expertise on your website. For more information, see this article: Access Your Certification History

Proadvisor QuickBooks Online Certification wrongly expired

After spending about 4 hours chatting with Customer Support yesterday, I was told that their system has no record of me taking the exam, that they can neither give me credit for the exam I know I took (but admittedly have no proof for, as part of the issue is that I never received the Certificate to begin with!) nor re-enable me to take the re-certification exam, and that I have no choice but to wait for roughly a month to take both full certification exams for QBO and QBO Advanced. Prepping for and taking the entire two exams instead of merely the re-certification will take far, far longer but I have been told I have no recourse. I am quite upset at this result, as you can imagine.
