Get help with QuickBooks products and services

Follow these steps if you need help with QuickBooks Online Simple Start, Essentials, Plus, Advanced, Accountant, ProAdvisor, or Solopreneur products.

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
2. Select (?) Help. This opens the Help page.
3. Select how you want to get help:
   • Assistant tab: In the Type or ask something field, enter your question or the topic you need help with. QB Assistant will give you answers or options for you to get the answers you need.
   • Search tab: Use the Search questions, keywords, or topics field to enter your question or the topic you need help with. You’ll get a list of articles related to it.

If you don’t get the answers you need, follow these steps depending on which tab you’re in:

• Assistant tab: Enter Talk to an expert to get options for expert help.
• Search tab: Select Contact Us to connect to an expert for help.

Follow these steps if you need help with QuickBooks Desktop products.

Notes:

• If you have QuickBooks Desktop Pro or Premier, you can get unlimited access to support when you get a care plan.
• QuickBooks Plus and Enterprise already have a care plan included.

1. Open QuickBooks Desktop.
2. Go to the Help menu, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us. This opens the Help window.
   Tip: Alternatively, you can also press F1 on your keyboard to open the Help window.
3. Use the Search questions, keywords, or topics field to enter your question or the topic you need help with. You’ll get a list of articles related to your question or topic.
   Note: If you don’t get the answers you need, select Contact Us to connect to an expert for help. You can choose between getting a callback, or chatting with us.
   
   If you don’t see the Help menu, check your screen settings in QuickBooks Desktop or update its version.

Take note of the support hours for each QuickBooks Payroll service.

Follow these steps if you need help with QuickBooks Workforce.

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Workforce.
2. Select Help. This opens the Help page.
3. Select how you want to get help:
   • Assistant tab: In the Type or ask something field, enter your question or the topic you need help with. QB Assistant will give you answers or options for you to get the answers you need.
   • Search tab: Use the Search questions, keywords, or topics field to enter your question or the topic you need help with. You’ll get a list of articles related to your question or topic.

If you don’t get the answers you need, follow these steps depending on which tab you’re in:

• Assistant tab: Enter Talk to an expert to get options for expert help.
• Search tab: Select Contact Us to connect to an expert for help.

Follow these steps if you need help with QuickBooks Capital or QuickBooks Live.

QuickBooks Capital

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Capital.
2. Choose how you want to contact us:
   • Give us a call at the number provided on the page.
   • Select Live chat to start a chat with an expert.

QuickBooks Capital’s support hours are Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 3 PM PT. They’re closed on weekends.

QuickBooks Live

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Live.
2. Choose how you want to contact us:
   • Select Get a free consultation to request for a callback at your preferred time, or;
   • Give us a call at the number provided on the page.

QuickBooks Live’s support hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 9 PM PT. They’re closed on weekends.
