Can anyone confirm trouble logging into Self Employed using Safari on MacOS? When I submit my login credentials, it just brings me back to the same login screen again.

Then, when I click the help icon, it goes to an error page! I then have the option to log into the support center, after which I can go back to the self employed login and it will let me in. But that is very roundabout and inconvenient.

Welcome to the Community, @jehsom. I'm very eager to share some workarounds and information about your concern with logging in to QuickBooks Self-Employed using Safari on Mac OS.

There are times that an issue like this occurs when we encounter a browser-related issue. We can fix this by running some basic troubleshooting steps.

I suggest performing the steps through a private window. It's the best place to check browser-related issues while working with QuickBooks. To save you time, use either of these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P

If it works fine, you can go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. You can also use another supported and up-to-date browser to narrow down the result.

On top of that, I've also included this reference to see different information on how QuickBooks Self-Employed tracks your business income and taxes: QuickBooks Self-Employed Overview

If you have any further questions with QuickBooks Self-Employed, please let me know and I’ll do everything I can to help here in the Community!

Using a private browsing window made no difference. Same thing happens. Please advise.

Thanks for updating us on this, jehsom. I'm surprised the basic troubleshooting steps didn't resolve the login issue. I'm here to help you get this fixed.

Since the issue persists, I'd suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They're equipped with tools to check the cause. It'll also allow them to submit a ticket to our engineering team to alert them about the issue if necessary.

To reach out to our support, I'd recommend using our QuickBooks Self-Employed trial account. Then, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Assistant menu.
  2. Type in Talk to human twice.
  3. Click I still need a human.
  4. You can either the Get a callback or Message an agent option.

To ensure that you'll be assisted on time, please see our support hours.

Additionally, I've included our QuickBooks Self-Employed Overview article for future reference. There, you're able to see how the program helps you track everything throughout the year.

Please come back and keep us posted on how it goes, jehsom. It's our priority to ensure you're able to start working on your file again.
