Let me provide the file you can download from QuickBooks Online (QBO), lwmail4u.
The file we can provide from QBO is from an Excel format. And, here's how to get them out of the system:
- Select the Settings ⚙ and then Export Data.
- On the Reports tab, set the date range.
- Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by toggling the slider.
- Select Export to Excel.
You'll be prompted with confirmation that the data has been exported.
If you need to export a different report, here's how to export reports to Excel. You many need to use a third- party app that can convert an Excel file to .qbb.
You have the option to directly move your files to Desktop. Simply follow these steps to accomplish this:
- Login to your client's QuickBooks Online account.
- the Settings ⚙. then choose Export Data.
- Enter your reason why you're exporting the data, then click Continue.
- Under Moving to QuickBooks Desktop?, select Learn more.
- Under Download company data, choose Learn more.
- Review your data from the export overview screen, then click Get Started.
- In the Exporting from QuickBooks Online page, select Continue to Download.
- Follow the rest of the on-screen instructions to complete the exporting process.
