First time mobile version user. How do I generate a report to give to my income tax preparer?

I appreciate you for reaching out to the Community, raygorb. Let me share insights to help you run specific reports in QuickBooks.

With QuickBooks Mobile App, limited features are only available from this version. That said, only Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports are visible in the mobile version.

To be more detailed on what report you'd want to run, I'd suggest using your QuickBooks Online account in a regular browser from your device.

Here's how:

  1. In the left menu bar, go to the Reports tab.
  2. Enter the specific report you want to use from the Find report by name search bar.
  3. Select the report to open.
  4. Change the date period or add filters, then click Run report.

You can refer to this link to learn more about the mobile features: Compare mobile app features.

Additionally, if your tax preparer has a QBO Accountant subscription, you can invite them as an accountant user to your account. Doing so will be much easier for you to process and comply with tax preparations and other payroll tasks. You may visit this link to add them to your company: Add accountant users in QuickBooks Online.

Moreover, I've added these links to guide you on what reports to run and customize them:

It contains detailed information about financial reports and their general preferences.

You can always reply below if you have additional questions about running reports in QuickBooks. We'd be glad to assist you further. Have a great day!
