Hello, Good afternoon! Can you please tell me how to reset FY date from July to Jan to run report without a master admin? Many thanks!

If you are added as an admin in the company, you can change the Fiscal Year (FY) from the Accounting menu. This way, it'll reset the FY date on the report. Let me walk you through the steps.

1. In your QuickBooks Online, click the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
2. Go to the Advanced menu.
3. In the Accounting section, click the pencil icon to edit.
4. From the First month of fiscal year drop-down, select July.
5. Click Save, then Done.

However, if you're running a year-end report, you'll just have to manually set the date in the To and From fields at the top of the report.

Most importantly, I still recommend checking with your accountant for more guidance. He/she may add suggestions based on what's more suitable for your business and to your books.
