Hello, while taking a subscription we toke one for America, but we are based in Suriname. Now I can't change my country and address settings. Please help?

We have a Quickbooks Online Essential account. We are a company based in Suriname. We made a mistake while choosing a subscription and we got one for USA. Now i can't put down the right address details. How can i solve this problem?

You should open a new blank QBO Global version for Suriname

https://quickbooks.grsm.io/South-America

 

You may have 2 ways to migrate data from your old QBO account if required.

Yes. You can use the same email address and don't forget to cancel your old account.

Yes, you can cancel your US account and subscribe to a new one as what Fiat mentioned in their response. You can also use the same username and password.

 

Here’s how:

 

  1. Go to this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/global/
  2. Scroll down to the page where you can see the different QuickBooks Online plans. Choose which one you’d like to use.
  3. Click Buy now and enter your login credentials.

Once done, you’ll want to cancel the mistakenly created US account to avoid charges. I’ll show you how:

 

  1. Log in to your US account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and select Accounts and settings.
  3. Click the Billing & Subscription menu, go to QuickBooks Online and click Cancel subscription.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions.
