Hi bluewolf0921!

 

Here's how you can change the phone number that is associated to your Intuit account and login credentials.

 

  1. Go here and sign in to your account
  2. Select Sign in & security
  3. Select Phone, then select Change next to the phone number you want to update
  4. Enter the new phone number and enter your password
  5. Select Save
  6. You can then verify your new number with either a text message or voice call

When I use this method to try and change the phone number on my account, it wants to send a code to my old number which I no longer have access to. How can I update my phone number without it trying to send a code to the old number?

Since the resolution provided wasn't able to let you change your phone number and fix your issue, we recommend contacting our Customer Care team to address this for you. Here's how:

 

    1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
    2. Go to Help (?).
    3. Select either tab to get started:
      • Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you decide you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
      • Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us: Start a chat with a support expert or Get a callback from the next available expert.
