How can you print your mileage report?

I understand that you want to generate a detailed mileage report in your QuickBooks Online account, @Izardmd. Let me guide you through the steps to achieve that.

In QuickBooks Online, you can easily pull up a mileage report in CSV format by following a few simple steps. This report will show all the trips that you have entered and can be organized according to your preference.

To export your mileage data, please log in as the Account Admin and follow these steps:

  1. Go to Expenses, then Mileage
  2. Click the drop down arrow next to Add trip.
  3. Select Download trips.

Please see the screenshot attached for your reference:

I have also included additional articles that will provide you with more information on mileage tracking:

Please let me know how it goes after trying these steps. I want to make sure that this issue is resolved for you. If you have any questions or concerns apart from mileage report, feel free to ask and I'm always glad to help in any way I can.

How can you print your mileage report?

Hello there, @wsmccallister. I'm here to help you print mileage reports in QuickBooks.

In QuickBooks Online, the mileage report can be pulled up by clicking the Download Trip button from the Trips page. This will open a report in an Excel file showing all the trips you've entered. To that, you can open and print the file through Excel.

Additionally, let me share this article to help manage mileage in QuickBooks:

How can you print your mileage report?

Hi, @sthomas2 and @wsmccallister.

@sthomas2, we appreciate your for staying with us all those years. I comprehend the importance of the mileage report for tracking your vehicles, and we're here to assist you in finding a solution to any issues with it.

Since you've already entered a vehicle mileage based on the screenshot and those entered mileage is not showing in the report. To fix this, We need to investigate and determine if this is a file or program issue.

First, I'd recommend updating your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). You can follow these steps:

  1. Go to Help and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Select Update Now, click Reset update, then Get Updates.
  3. Then, Close and reopen QuickBooks.

If the error persists, you can run QuickBooks Tool Hub to help fix common errors.

  1. Close QuickBooks.
  2. Download the QuickBooks Tool Hub
  3. You can save the file somewhere you can easily find it.
  4. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  5. Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
  6. After completing the installation, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to access the tool hub.
  7. Run quick file fix :
  • Company File Issues: Run the Quick Fix My File or the QuickBooks File Doctor to fix common data issues.
  • Program Problems: Fix common problems when you open or work in the program

@wsmccallister, thanks for coming back.

The default file type extension for downloading trips from QuickBooks Online (QBO) is CSV File. Since it isn't available on your end, let's perform browser troubleshooting steps to isolate the problem, as this could be a temporary browser problem. Here's how:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Shift + Command + N

If this works, proceed to clear your browser's cache. This process will remove and fix specific issues and help the program run optimally. Additionally, you can use other devices and supported browsers to ensure everything works as expected.

However, if the issue continues, it would greatly assist us if you could provide a screenshot when downloading the trips in QBO.

Also, I'm adding these articles to help you in case you need to customize any report that you generate.

Feel free to reach us for updates on your mileage reports. We're here to help you. Take care.

How can you print your mileage report?

I tried all of the Quickbooks Hub Tool remedies, and they didn't work. However, I kept getting contradictory messages that the tool was working on it yet couldn't find it. This is only from one of the tool utilities, but the others looked similar.
