How do I add a second accountant?

You can consider adding your second accountant to the Manage Users page in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @HH10. I'd be glad to walk you through the process. 

 

To begin, please note that only a primary admin can add or invite an accountant. To add your second accountant, you'll first need to invite them to your account. They'll then receive an email with the invitation.

 

Here's how to invite your accountant: 

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account as a primary admin.
  2. Click the Gear icon, then select Manage users.
  3. Select the Accountants or Accounting firms tab.
  4. Enter your accountant’s email address, then hit Invite.

 

Once your accountant accepts the invitation, their status on the Manage Users page will change from Invited to Active.

 

If they already have QuickBooks Online Accountant, they'll receive a link to access your QBO company. If they don't, they'll need to sign up for a free account to access all the features available in your version of QBO.

  4. Click the Verify link, then hit Change.
  5. Enter your new phone number, and then select Save.
