I have the steps so you're able to change your accountant.
There are two ways to change your accountant in QuickBooks Online. If you're the one who creates your QuickBooks account, you'll have the option to remove them and add a new one. I'll show you how.
- Go to the Gear or Settings icon.
- Select Manage users.
- Click the Accountant tab.
- Locate the accountant's name and choose Delete under the Action column.
- Hit Yes to confirm.

If your accountant initialized your QBO account, you'll need to reach out to them to remove your company from their wholesales billing and ask them to make you the primary admin to have full control of your account.
