How do I generate an Income Tax Summary report for my 2017 schedule c?

In QuickBooks Online, we're unable to pull up an Income tax summary report for your 2017 schedule C. You can only pull up the Profit and Loss report so you'll know the net profit for 2017.

 

This is only available in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

So I am paying MORE for this account, but can do LESS?? It's tax time, that's why I bought Quickbooks online!!

How do I generate an Income Tax Summary report for my 2017 schedule c?

Hi tk5,

 

The Profit and Loss report in QuickBooks Online (QBO) will give you the information needed in filing Schedule C.

 

To get there:

  1. Click Reports, and then type "Profit and Loss" in the Find report by name field. 
  2. Change the Report period to Custom and change the date to 2017. You can also click the Customize button to filter the report.
  3. Click Run report.

Also, QBO has a report called Sales Tax Liability Report that you can use and filter to get the data needed for Schedule C.
