Hi @raluikart, based on the items that you want to show up in the report, I'd recommend the "Transaction List by Date" report in QBO. This report lists all your transactions ordered by date. It also contains the description, amounts, and class. You can also have a little play around on what info you want the report to show. Just head on the small gear icon and select (or deselect) the columns. Good luck!

I appreciate the help, but I don't see Class listed in the report or in the set of available columns under "Customize" (see attached screen shot). Is there a way to add Class to the report that I'm missing?
Hello there, raluikart.
Allow me to join the thread and share with you the steps so you can get the report you need in QuickBooks Online.
We have a different way of running a statement to get the data that you need. The closest way to get your desired report is by running the Sales by Class Detail report and groupi this report by Class.
Here's how:
6. Put a checkmark in the box beside Class.
7. Go to the Filter section, then click the Class dropdown menu and select All.
8. Once done, click Run Report.

Thanks for the additional info. We're closer to a solution but not quite there.
Yes, Class shows up in the list of fields and in the report, but the report doesn't pull in any data to the field from my Checking account entries (even though I know the Class information is populated on those records). Weirdly, this report does pull in Class on other, non-bank accounts. I'd really like to see Class on my Checking (and other bank) account transactions.
Hello there, @raluikart.
It's great to see you back in the Community. I'm here to ensure you'll get the data you'll need and provide additional information about the report you need in QuickBooks Online.
When running a Class Report, all Income and Expense accounts are filtered by default. This could be the reason the transactions aren't showing up. To fix this, I'd suggest removing the Account filter by clicking the Customize Report button.
You can also run and customize the Transaction Detail by Account report and filter it to include the Memo/ Description column. Let me show you how:

Hi, @LollyNino_C . Thanks for your response.
The transactions show up, it's just that the Class field is empty. I've included a screen shot so you can see how it looks.
I know another way how you can run the report to show information under the class field, @raluikart.
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can filter the Transaction Detail by Account report to all classes so all transactions with an assigned class will show. Here's how:
This will show all transactions with a class assignment.
In case some transactions do not appear in the report, there may be no class assigned to them. To verify, you can click Customize button again and return to the Filter section. From there, select All in the Class drop down so it will include all transactions with or without class and then, run the report. Once done, click to open the transaction in question and check the class field if there are information entered.
You can read this article for more details on managing your report: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.
I've also got here a compilation of QuickBooks How-to videos that can further guide you in navigating the program.
I'm just around the corner to help in case you need additional assistance in customizing your report to show class. Don't hesitate to post again here. Have a good one.
