How do I link a new credit card?

Thank you for posting here in the Community, @twingardensllc. I'm here to help you connect your new credit card to QuickBooks Online.

Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank transactions
  2. Click Link Account.
  3. Enter the URL or name of your bank in the Search field, then select the bank. If you can’t find your bank, you can manually upload transactions instead.
  4. Enter your Sign info in the Login and Password fields, then select Continue
  5. Select the account that you want to connect and date to pull transactions from the dropdown. Then, select Next.
  6. Choose the account type that matches your chart of accounts in QuickBooks from the Account type dropdown. If you don't see the correct account type, select +Add new.

Once the account is connected, you can download your recent transactions by following these steps:

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank transaction.
  2. Select Update.

After completing these steps, you can start adding and matching your transactions to ensure they go to the right accounts and prevent duplicates.

Lastly, you can reconcile your account to ensure the accuracy of your books.

Please let me know if you have successfully connected your new credit card, as I want to make sure this is resolved for you.  I'm available 24/7 to help you out.

How do I link a new credit card?

Thanks, I was finally able to after updating over WiFi. When I was first trying over mobile data, it wasn’t coming up as an account at the bank (which was already linked to my QB.)
