How do you restore an account that was accidentally de-activated?

I accidentally deleted an account that had data for the past 10 years? how can I restore it?

How do you restore an account that was accidentally de-activated?

Hi there, @rfiat. Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the Community for support.

 

I can help you restore your deactivated account in QuickBooks Online. Here are the steps on how to do so: 

 

  1. Go to the Accounting menu and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click the small Gear icon below New, then check the box for Include inactive.
  3. Look for the inactive income account and click Make active under the Action column.

If you mean to restore your deleted Intuit data, we're unable to get it back for you. However, we can manually download your data if you have kept a backup.
