I have a problem with QB saying invoice sent and client saying they did not get it

I need a report of Invoices not sent

I'm not sure they would even bother to provide such a report. They are struggling to fix this problem. Do you offer online payments with QB Payments on your invoice?

Hello thegrubbs, I'm here to share additional details.

 

You can run the Transaction List by customer report or utilize the Audit log to view the email status of an invoice. However, the report won't show transactions that are not sent successfully. I'll show you how:

 

Transaction List by customer report:

  1. Go to the Report menu and open the said report.
  2. Click Customize.
  3. Tick the Sent or To be sent box. Once done, click Run report.

Audit log:

  1. Gear icon> Audit log under Tools.
  2. Find the invoice and click View.
  3. Review the status.

We can also review the possible reasons why your customer didn't receive the sent invoices. Then, let's make sure to fix it right now.

  

We can begin by letting your client check their junk or spam folders. For some reason, an invoice might sent to that location.

  

If invoices aren't showing in the spam folder, we can double-check your email. We'll have to make sure it's configured properly. I'll show you how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and settings.
  2. Go to the Company tab.
  3. Click the Contact info section.
  4. Clear the Company email address field and enter the desired address, even if it shows the correct one. Make sure not to use any extra characters or spaces before, within, or after the address, you enter.
  5. Click Save, and then Done.
