I want to upgrade my subscription to plus but don't see an option through Google play to do so. Is there a simple way to do this?

When I signed up for QB it was originally through the Google play app and when I follow the instructions you've laid out I am told to manage my subscription through the Google play app. I don't see how to upgrade when I try to do so through the Google play app subscription manager.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) can be purchased in two ways. That is through Intuit and billing partners like Google Play or the Apple Store. Since both have different billing options, that's the main reason why you're told to manage your subscription through the Google Play app since from the very start you purchased it from there. You'll want to reach out to Google Help and inform them that you want to upgrade to the Plus version.
