Join nowI recently subscribed to QB Online (choose Germany flag before purchase) and I tried to export the company file from our QB Desktop Premier 2019 (US Version) to QB Online. The import to QB Online worked but now I face an issue of having two companies:
How can we apply the subscription of first company into the second company to not be billed twice?
Hello there, Niklas van den Boom.
In your case, we will need the help of our specialists by reaching out to them through the phone. The reason why we need to connect with them is to transfer the subscription where the imported data is. They take charge of this nature of questions like handling your subscription when converting data from QuickBooks Desktop to another product.
Let me guide you on how to contact them:
Another way is to use this link: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en/contact. It has international support who'll guide you further in this matter too.
Due to COVID-19, we have limited support and reduced our support hours. You can reach out to them from 6 AM-6 PM PT Monday-Friday.
Know that if you ever need anything, the community and I are all here for you. Stay safe and healthy!
Dear Sarahann,
thank you for your answer. I am happy do try the proposed way. However, I already tried this way yesterday and I was told I need to contact international support, as I do not have an US QB Online account. However, international support is only available by mail and I got a response from them that they would as well not be responsible:
" Thank you for contacting Intuit Quickbooks Online Global Care. My name is David, your Customer Care Specialist for today.
As much as I would love to assist you, however your concern is not cover with my expertise."
However, I will then try again and let you know.
You can only migrate QB Desktop US version to QB Online US version. You need a 3rd party tool to migrate QBD to QBO EU version for Germany. i.e TP Exporter for QBD, TP Importer for QBO.
