If I login to Turbotax, it want to connect with QB self employed. The screen is blank at the top? There are no prompts so I can't move on. What should I do?

Let's investigate why you can't connect from Turbo Tax into QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), sslates.

It's possible you're using two separate login credentials for QBSE and TurboTax. To connect with both accounts, they must share the same username and password or you can change the login credentials of one account to match the other.

If you don't use the same login credentials, you can follow these options:

  • Use your TurboTax account going forward.
  • Use your QuickBooks Self-Employed going forward.
  • Maintain two separate accounts.

For more details about this one, please check out this article: Send your info to TurboTax if your QuickBooks Self-Employed account is different from your TurboTax ....

If the same thing happens, try using a private window to see if it is a browser issue or not. Then, try accessing your Turbotax account again.

If it works, go back to your original browser and clear the browser's cache to delete the temporary Internet files. This will refresh the browser back to its original state.

Here's how (depending on which browser you use):

Once you're done, you can restart your browser for the changes to take effect.
