Buy nowMy Credit Union just informed me of the same issues. As of 12/22/2023, my Credit Union accounts are no longer connected in Quickbooks.
Here's the message from my Credit Union's Support Team:
Thank you Tom,
I did a little digging myself and it looks like Intuit changed their IP address, which is likely causing the problem. You'll probably need to connect with Quickbooks to find out the new IP address, but once we have that we can ask Admin to add it to the approved list, or at least that's how tech support described it to me.
Sincerely,
Teri
Hi, @pharrington and Tom. Thank you for informing us of the bank connectivity issue you encountered. I'm here to help.
I can confirm that Intuit, the company behind QuickBooks, hasn't changed its IP address for QuickBooks Online (QBO). While this is the case, your banks informed that there's been a change in Intuit's IP address. I'd like to suggest steps to help us isolate what's causing the problem.
First, I'd like to ask for the specific bank names of accounts linked to QBO. This is for us to check if there are ongoing bank connectivity investigations our product engineers are working to resolve and update you on their status.
Next, I recommend working with your IT expert to ensure the firewall isn't blocking the connection to your bank's server. Additionally, since banks usually update their security measures from time to time, QBO's IP address might need to be whitelisted or allowed through your bank's server. You can browse at the bottom portion of this article to check out the IP addresses that QBO uses: QBO IP address.
When this is resolved, and you're able to update transactions, let me add this article about categorizing transactions in QBO as a future guide: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Let us know if you have further updates on the bank connectivity issue you experienced. We're always here to assist. Happy holidays!
My institution is Affinity Plus Credit Union. We have checking, savings, and money market accounts connected to Quickbooks Online.
