Hello,

 

QuickBooks Online is designed to house only 1 company's information, 1 EIN, etc.

 

That being said, if you have multiple DBA's under 1 EIN, you can use 1 QBO account for the multiple DBA's and use a feature like Class Tracking to separate the DBA's for reporting purposes.

It's nice to see you again in the Community space, @mmhomeimprovements. It would be my pleasure to provide you with insights regarding the process of incorporating an additional business within QuickBooks Online.

 

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), one subscription corresponds to one company file. However, you can create as many companies as you want within the same QuickBooks Online account. Each company you create requires an additional subscription, but you can access them with the same sign-in info. This lets you quickly switch between companies so you can manage everything more efficiently. 

 

Here's how to add a second account: 

 

  1. Visit https://quickbooks.intuit.com/pricing/
  2. Choose Buy Now or Start Free 30-Day Trial.
  3. Select a product (Simple Start, Essentials, Advanced, or Plus).
  4. Click Buy Now or Try it free to subscribe to QuickBooks Online.
  5. Enter your login information and follow the on-screen prompts to set up the second company. If it prompts you that this email address is already taken, select Already have an account? Sign in.
  6. Enter your existing Intuit email address and password.

 

Now that you have multiple companies, you’ll be asked which company you want to open whenever you Sign in to QuickBooks Online. Then, you can go ahead and click the Gear icon at the top, and you'll have the option to click the Switch Company from there. One QBO account is for one company file. Consider using QB Desktop Pro to manage multi company files with a single license.
