Is there a Time by Customer report without the detail?

You have the ability to modify reports in QuickBooks by removing or adding filters. This makes it simpler to create a report according to your preferences. This way, you’ll be able to track and bill customers for the number of hours consumed in a project or activity seamlessly.

To start, you can select the Customize button, then set the date range. Next, click the Filter dropdown and tick the boxes of the data you need. You can also click the little Gear icon and add or remove the checkmark in the checkbox.

For instance, an employee works for Customer A with different time duration. To track them, go to the Customize button and tick Customer, Product/Service, Employee, and the Created date, then Run report. On the Gear icon beside the export, you can choose Activity date, Duration, Start time, and End time.

Please know that you can also export the data to Excel for editing to filter some of the data. Just click the Export icon on the right side above the header.

This does not answer my question. I know all about customizing reports. Is there a TIME BY CUSTOMER report WITHOUT detail??? Just Time by Customer is all I want. Does it exist?

Currently, we don't have a time by customer report in QuickBooks Online. You may want to suggest it so our engineers will know that you need it in your QBO. Just click on the Gear icon and choose Feedback.

Having a Time by Customer report without any details can be a great option in QuickBooks. However, we're unable to generate this specific report in the system. Still, we can utilize the Time Activities by Customer Detail report and manually exclude unnecessary details. We can follow the steps below to do it

1. Go to the Reports and search for the Time Activities by Customer Detail Report.
2. Click Customize.
3. In the Rows/Column and Filter section, deselect the boxes you want to exclude from the report.
4. Click Run report to reflect the changes.

We can also export it to Excel. From Excel, we can manually customize the information.
