Is there a wage rate report?

Hi there, sandra85.

Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. I'll ensure you'll be able to see a specific report for the wage rate.

Yes, there is a wage rate report in QuickBooks Online. With this, I recommend running the Paycheck History report and customizing it. This report shows a list of your paychecks created. You can enter or modify check numbers, print pay stubs, and more.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Reports menu on the left panel.
  2. Choose Paycheck History in the search bar.
  3. Click the Customize icon and start updating or filtering the option.
  4. Click Run report.
  5. Click the employee's name and you'll be able to see the specific pay rate per hour from there.

You can also pull up the Payroll Tax and Wage Summary report. This will show total subject wages, excess wages, and taxable wages by tax type.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Choose Payroll Tax and Wage Summary in the search bar.
  3. Click the Customize icon and start updating or filtering the option.
  4. Click Run report.

To see further details on how you can customize reports and focus on the details that matter the most to you, you can click this article: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, if you want to see other reports in QuickBooks that contain wages information, you may open this article: Run payroll reports.

Lastly, you may refer to this article to see a table list that includes different reports that are available for your version of QuickBooks Online: Reports included in your QuickBooks Online subscription.

Feel free to post a comment below if you have other questions about reports and payroll. I’ll be glad to lend a helping hand. Have great rest of your day.

Is there a wage rate report?

This is not a wage report. This is showing the details of an employee's paycheck on a specific payroll date. I need a historical wage report, showing the wage rate for each employee over a specified period of time.

Is there a wage rate report?

I recognize the relevance of the options you mention above, @skskinny. I'll share the steps to submit feedback. Providing us with feedback will help improve and help you to have a better experience with QuickBooks Online.

Since QuickBooks Online offers the data available in the report section, we can export the specific report to an Excel file and then sort the file of each employee's paycheck to get the total wages. I'll share this article for the step-by-step process of exporting reports: Export your reports to Excel from QuickBooks Online.

Furthermore, we can send a request to our product developer. This way, they'll see your suggestion and consider adding it to the next program update.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under the Profile column, press the Feedback button.
  3. Write your product suggestion, then click Next.

Our Product Development team receives your statements (QBO) through the feature request link: QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.

Visit this article for further information on how to keep track of your client's account growth: QuickBooks Help Articles. It includes topics about account management, banking, and expenses and vendors, to name a few. You can click the + More topics button to view other selections.

Please feel free to remark with your response. I'm excited to provide more notifications on importing and exporting-related matters. Have a great day.
