Yes, QuickBooks Online has an option to do a manual backup. I'm here to show you how to do it.

There's a feature in the QuickBooks Online Advanced plan to create a backup file. You also have the option to restore it. If you're using either Plus, Essentials, or Simple Start, you'll want to upgrade first to Advanced.

Then, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Gear icon and select Back up company.
2. If prompted, sign in with your Intuit account credentials, then select Authorize to proceed.
3. Select Add Company. From the Search for a company dropdown menu, select the company you want to back up.
4. Click Next, then Connect.
5. Find the company you want to back up.
6. Tap the Action dropdown menu, then select Run full backup.

If you wish not to upgrade your subscription, visit the Apps menu. From there, you can search for a third-party application that can back up and restore QuickBooks Online data.

You can also export your data to QB Desktop file format if required.

Thank you. Seems crazy to me you would need an advanced plan to backup your own data. 

This solution will not work for us, too pricey.
