Hello, @melvin1.
Let me explain why your QuickBooks Online (QBO) is running slow and provide a solution to improve your experience.
QBO is a web-based service that requires your computer or device's processing power, available memory (RAM), and internet bandwidth to function properly. Insufficient resources in any of these areas may lead to reduced performance.
Here are some ways to improve your experience while using QBO. We highly recommend using Google Chrome and ensuring it's updated to the latest version for the best browsing experience. Please ensure that your operating system is up to date and that your internet speed is not limiting your QBO experience. You can run a speed test to check your internet speed.
You may refer to this article for additional details: Why is my QuickBooks Online slow?
Once you can access QBO smoothly, here's an article on how to personalize and add specific info to your sales forms: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
If you encounter any issues or have concerns about the QuickBooks Online system performance, please don't hesitate to comment on this thread. I'm always available to assist you with any queries you may have.
You’d have to check with the cell phone manufacturers on the amount of RAM they put into their phones. But if you’re going to update software that doesn’t work with the latest phones that seems pretty short sited in itself.
I've got additional steps you can follow to ensure a seamless QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience for you, @melvin1.
Based on design, QBO's waiting time is 10 seconds, and we continue to monitor it to ensure this is maintained. However, it's important to consider that since this program is web-based, various factors can influence its performance such as the ones mentioned by my colleague above.
Additionally, although the browser's cache and cookies speed up QBO, it can sometimes cause issues when there's so much that's being cached. That said, I'd recommend clearing it to start fresh.
If you're using the QBO app, here's how:
For Android
For iOS
On the other hand, if you're using the web on your mobile device, check out this article to learn how to clear your browser's cache and cookies: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

All these "answers" from QB is ridiculous. We will be leaving QB online if not fixed by January. I have a brand new apple macbook pro. The fastest internet man can buy and my work with qb online is taking me 3 times the amount of time to complete. Mostly waiting for it to catchup. To hear they are responding with that its our fault is crazy. Everything has worked fine for 15 years, now its our fault...get real.
I know what you mean. It’s like they are taking a great tool and making it almost useless. It will be a good time for a new software company to come in and take over the business that can move from quickbooks. And then when you do call them they close the tickets saying “oh we’ve been trying to reach you unsuccessfully”.
they’ve really dropped the ball badly.
