List of example account names

Good day, CSSsomd.

I'd like to know more where you see the Select from Examples button. Do you see this option in the Add New Account window from the Lists > Chart of Accounts? Can you provide a sample screenshot of the page? Please make sure to gray out any sensitive information for security purposes.

QuickBooks Desktop doesn't have a list of same examples showing when creating new accounts.

Please know that you can only select examples from the Select from Examples button. I understand that some categories/accounts don't have an option to select examples. However, the Select from Examples button is working as designed.

I'm adding this article to learn more about adding new accounts in the Chart of Accounts: Add, edit, or delete accounts in QuickBooks Desktop.

Once you've entered your accounts successfully, you can now record your transactions in QuickBooks Desktop. For more guidance, feel free to check out these articles:

• Record and make bank deposits

That doesn't address my question - what I asked was whether there was any way to obtain or see the full list of examples other than via that button.  For example, do you have a list somewhere online or in a help document? Or can you get it from your programmers and just post it as a response to this question? - Thanks
