Join nowWe are going to be merging 2 companies that we own into one. We currently have an account in Quikbooks for each company and we are especially concerned about the financial aspects (balance sheets, profit & loss, general ledger, etc), that all information from Company #2 merges into Company #1.
So my question is....is this something that can be done? If it is, is there a Quikbooks agent that is very familiar with doing this procedure that can walk us thru it? We would like to speak with someone instead of just writing us directions. We are going to be doing this merge in January and when we are ready to begin the process, contact the QB pro for assistance.
Thank you
Terri
Thank you
You may have 2 ways to merge 2 QBO accounts:
1. Signup for a new QBO Plus or Advanced account
https://quickbooks.grsm.io/us-promo
then utilize a 3rd party tool to migrate data from old accounts to the new one.
https://get.transactionpro.com/qbo
You may also need to setup class tracking and/or location to separate transactions.
As an additional option, utilize the backup restore app during the migration process.

2. Purchase a 3rd party service to merge them.
