I'll help you get to the bottom of this issue without a moment's delay, @jagrover.

What error or message appears when you try opening your company in Firefox? To further deduce whether or not there's an issue with your browser, try loading QuickBooks Online in a FireFox private window. This can be opened from within Firefox by pressing Ctrl+Shift+P. Within this new window, head back to QBO and try opening your company again.

Should the issue persist, please be sure to make a note of the error message or whatever behavior prevents you from loading the company. Any additional information or screenshots you can provide me will help to expedite the troubleshooting. Thanks for coming to the Community, and have a very Happy New Years!

Still will not open in Firefox. I log into QN Online with no problem. When I choose the company to open I do not get an error message, just whirling circle.

To help you sign in to your company using Chrome, disable the third-party software that’s blocking you from performing this action. Here’s how:

  1. Open the browser (Chrome) and then tap the Three-dotted menu located in the upper-right side to choose More Tools.
  2. From the menu, choose Extensions to view the list of extensions installed in your browser.
  3. Look for your anti-virus or malware and tap the Remove button delete it3.PNG

To deactivate the Chrome Plug-ins:

  1. Go to the Three-dotted icon to choose the Settings menu.

  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and then tap the Advanced drop-down.

  3. Tap the Content settings option under the Privacy and security section.

  4. In the list, pick the plugin you're working on and then toggle the slider to deactivate it.

Next, let’s go ahead and open the company. If you continue to experience the same problem, run the Health Checkup tool to identify any issues with your browser's health.

Stay in touch if you have any other concerns or questions about the product. I’m here ready to assist further. Have a good one.

I’m having the SAME issue. It will not open in Firefox, just a blank white screen after I login. But it will open in safari no issues.

Have you tried the steps shared by Rasa-LilaM, Pinky4289?

If you haven't, you can give it a try. QuickBooks will open in the Mozilla Firefox since it's one the browser that QuickBooks Online supports.

Afterward, reopen QuickBooks.

If you get the same result, it would be best to contact our Customer Support team. They can take a look at your account and investigate this further. Here's how:

  1. Click the ? Help icon.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Enter QuickBooks won't open in the Firefox browser.
  4. Click Let's talk.
  5. Select either Start messaging or Get a call back.

Please let me know if you're able to log in from there.

Those steps are for Chrome - what are the steps to fix QBO in Firefox?  I'm also having this problem.  When I go to qbo.intuit.com, the screen is just a blank blue screen, nowhere to login.  I would like to be able to use QBO in Firefox.  It used to work fine.

I appreciate you reaching out to the Community, @colleenkg2013.

Let me guide you on how to enable the pop-up blocker for Mozilla Firefox.

Here's how:

  1. Select the Menu button, indicated by the 3 horizontal bars located at the top right corner of the browser.
  2. Tap on Options, or press the F10 or ALT key to use the Tools preferences.
  3. Select the Privacy & Security link from the left menu.
  4. Scroll down to the Permissions section.
  5. Next to Block pop-up windows, choose Exceptions.

Check out the Why doesn't anything happen when I select a button or link article for additional information.

If the same things happen, I suggest switching to a different browser or using a private window when logging in to QuickBooks.

Here are keyboard shortcuts to use for different windows:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

From here, if you didn't receive the same error message, you can clear your browser's cache so your browser can start from scratch.

In case you have any other QuickBooks concerns in the future, you can also read our help articles and look for the topic you need: Help articles for QBO.

Mention me in the comment section if you need further assistance. It's my pleasure to help. Have a great day!
