If you recently received an email saying your subscription is suspended because we couldn't process a payment. No worries. I'm here to help you update your billing details to continue using QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Before beginning with the steps, it's important to keep in mind the following things:

 

  • Only the primary admin can update the payment details.
  • Once the payment is processed, the suspension should be cleared within 24 hours.

 

If your QuickBooks Online plan is on free trial:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select Subscribe Now.
  3. Complete all the details required.
  4. In your subscription summary, select Annual Billing or Monthly Billing.
  5. Select Subscribe, then OK, got it.

 

Here's how to change or update your payment details:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then select Account and settings.
  2. Select the Billing & subscription tab.
  3. Under Payment method, select Edit.
  4. Fill in the information required. Make sure that the billing address in QuickBooks Online is the same as your credit card statement.
  5. Click Save Changes.
