Private Financial Reports Showing up in public Google Search

I kid you not, a search for my org. in Google is returning financial reports that should be private and not in any way catalogued in search results.

I logged out. I cleared all cookies and cache. And tried again: still showing when I search my org's name in quotes.

This is beyond uncool. I found out due to a Google search alert.

Can anyone help me? Goodness gracious, Quickbooks.

Private Financial Reports Showing up in public Google Search

It's nice to have you again here in the Community, sugarhousereview.

I appreciate you sharing the details of your concern. I'm here to help make sure this is taken care of for you.

May I know what specific financial reports you're referring? Is this a custom report you've created in QuickBooks Online (QBO)? Any additional information will help me provide the best resolution for your concern.

In the meantime, I'll be adding this article that tackles running and managing reports in QBO: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.

You can also visit our website for tips and other resources: QBO self-help articles.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Statement of Activity. Cash basis. It's one of a number of reports I've run. Screenshot included. Forgive the reverse text, it's a browser preference.

The last attachment was from another computer (also had no active login to Quickbooks).

Thanks for getting back here, sugarhousereview.

Let me share some additional information about your situation.

With QuickBooks Online, the security of your data is our first priority. Please feel free to read this article: QuickBooks Online Security.

I've also tested this on my company by exporting a financial report as PDF. Then, search the company name in Google, but didn't find any records of the exported report.

For us to review the account and report it, I recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Team. Please take note that our support for QuickBooks Online Plus, Essentials, Simple Start is available from M-F 6 AM to 6 PM PT and Saturday 6 AM to 3 PM PT. For the Advanced version, we're available any time, any day.

Here are the steps:

  1. Click the Help icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. In the Search window, click the Contact Us button located at the bottom.
  3. Enter your question and click Let's talk.
  4. Choose either Chat with us or Have us call you.

If you have the new QuickBooks Assistant help update, you can follow these steps:

  1. In your QuickBooks Online account, go to the Help > Assistant.
  2. Type Talk to a human and enter what do you need help with.
  3. Click No if none of the articles shared are helpful and select Chat with us or Have us call you.

In addition, you can check out this guide to protect your financial information: Privacy and security in QuickBooks.

You're always welcome to post a reply on this thread if you have any additional questions or other concerns. Me and my colleagues are here to help. Take care and stay safe.

You have to put our org name in quotes and turn on recency in search tools.

But I think I figured it out. It appears to be a document I uploaded in a help chat like this.
