Is it possible to use QuickBooks in Spanish? If so, how would I do that? Thank you.
Yes, you can use the program in Spanish, Hari.
This feature is available in QuickBooks Online Spain, Mexico, and in some other countries outside the US. Here's how you can change the language settings:
The steps above are also shown in my screenshots below. Let me know if you have follow-up questions.
Hello. I don't have the language option available in my quickbooks online. It is very annoying since I'm trying to work on my US company from Latin America and my invoices are issued in Spanish. Not good!
The option to change the language is only available in the international version of QBO, Panchato.
You probably signed up for the US version. That's why you don't see an option to change the language settings. You can change the home currency though, so the invoices will be issued using the Euro currency.
Here's how:
You may want to sign up for an international QBO version. This way, you can set up your company file to work in Latin America. You can visit our site to compare the products that works in your region: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/eu/pricing/. The good thing about this is you can use the same log in credentials for the new account.
If you have any follow-up questions on this, feel free to get back to me. Thanks for dropping by.
Hi. If I signed for the US version why my interface is in spanish then? My company isa local company in California and I need to issue my invoice and everything else in english. Can I switch to english?
Welcome to the Community, @Anonymous.
Let's check your language settings and get your transactions created in English.
Please check if the language set on your computer and browser is in English, and not in Spanish. This way, you can create your transactions in English.
If you have Spanish set up as the language, I recommend changing it to English.
Once you log back in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, you'll be able to create transactions in English.
Also, you need to sign up for an account based on where you report your taxes. I recommend speaking with your accountant about this so they can guide you what country version of QBO you need to stick with.
Let me know if you have other questions in the future. I'm always happy to help.
My SO and my . browser are both set in english. Regardless, my user interface is still in spanish. My invoices are created in Spanish. My problem has nothing to do with that. I need to fix it, otherwise I'll have to cancel my membership. Thanks!
Hello there, panchato.
Thanks for getting back to us. Let me help to sort this out so you can create an Invoice in English language and get back to your business right away.
I appreciate you for following the steps provided by my colleagues above. We haven't received any similar reports about this issue, and I appreciate you taking the time to report this. Let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps by logging in to QuickBooks Online using a private browser or incognito window. This mode allows you to do a clean search, free from the influence of previous browsing history and network.
Here are the keyboard shortcuts to open private browser:
If the same thing happens, I recommend calling our QuickBooks Online Support Team. They have the tools to do a remote session and investigate this further.
