QuickBooks online won't accept any of my new payment methods when I try to resubscribe.

Before you proceed to update your payment information for resubscribing in QuickBooks Online (QBO), it's essential to ensure that you do it accurately and without errors, fresh. I have some idea about this, I'll share it with you.


Once you encounter any issues while updating your billing information, I suggest carefully editing your payment method again and double-checking all the information you have entered. Here are a few important things to keep in mind:
 

  • When entering your billing address, please refrain from using special characters and symbols such as "@" or "*" as this could potentially lead to errors in the system.
  • Ensure to provide information for all the fields on the payment method screens, including the postal code.

 

If you're done doing this and still experiencing the same, note that there are times when the browser's cache can become filled and cause issues when working your QBO account. I suggest running QBO in a private or incognito browsing mode to help your computer run optimally and regain some storage space to continue working seamlessly. See these keyboard shortcuts to open a private window:
 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the upper right corner of your screen, click on Help (?).
  3. Select or type Contact Us.
  4. Start entering your concern, then select Let's Talk.
  5. Please choose a way to connect with us:
  • Assistant tab and select Talk to a human.
  • Search tab and click on Contact Us to connect with a support expert.
